I see some of you saying it's because we don't support the artists so that's why they are out there playing for worldly groups. now tell me if God's blessings aren't greater than any support a man can give. I'm an artist myself and if today no one notice me, I will still use my beautiful voice to sing for God because I'm not doing it for men. whoever decides to leave because they feel no support, their heard wasn't in doing it for God.
Who are we kidding here? Obviously, this guy was never in it for the right reasons. The sad thing is that the rest of them are less than one step away from doing the same thing. All you have to do is listen to the music itself. I truly believe they really are competing with secular bands using a "Christian" plaform. And this is being done to attract secular producers whom may discover them. Very sad indeed. It is true that the lack of support is all around. Neverthelss, those secular guys are able to make a living out of what they do whereas christian artists cannot. A gospel music ministry is in a class by itself. Like I always tell my fellow gospel musicians: get a carrier, get a job to take care of yourself and your family. Only then can you get really involved in this ministry. Otherwise you may be tempted to do the work of the other master, an eternal shame.
Merry Christmas and a Jappy New Year to all.
