THE VOICE CONNECTION
SOUND OFF

Welcome to The Voice Connection Sound Off; a forum for users of books like Raise Your Voice, Melody to Madness, The Ultimate Breathing Workout, and Unleash Your Creative Mindset, as well as a place for Vendera Vocal Academy members to interact.

This message board was created so that singers could come together and "sound off" to help support each other during vocal development and the creative process of unleashing the creative spark that occurs when writing and producing music. Currently, myself and vocal coaches Ben Valen, Ray West, and Ryan Wall are here to respond periodicially to your questions, with new vocal coaches coming soon. But, feel free to help each other too:)

This board is here for you to ask questions about my and my fellow coach's books, videos, and MP3 programs, as well as offer others help with our vocal techniques. You may also post videos of yourself and your band to share your music and ask for critiques.

Please refrain from negative comments, profanities, spamming, and inappropriate criticisms of vocal methodologies, vocal coaches, and singers. All negative posts will be deleted and subject to banning without question. I will not respond to negative posts, because, as Mark Twain once said, “Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.” With that said, positive criticism is welcome because that is how you'll grow as a singer during the training process.

Re: Great Singer

Wow, are you just discovering Kevin Chalfont? ;) Yes, he's awesome! Some people were mad years ago that they didn't get him to replace Perry in Journey (although I still think Journey made the right choice) The Storm put out two CDs and both are excellent. The first was self titled and the 2nd one was called Eye Of The Storm. Go get them!!!

Re: Great Singer

Yeah, I thought I was pretty well up to snuff on the older stuff, but I never even heard of him. Thank goodness for YouTube.
Why don't you put some of your glass shattering videos on YT?

Re: Great Singer

I'm computer illiterate and if you know how to take my 2 minute Myspace video and post it on utube, by all means, go ahead, I'm cool with it ;)

Re: Great Singer

I didn't know how to do it either, but figured I'd give it a try and learn on the go. Not too difficult. Here's your link:

Re: Great Singer

Yer welcome, yer welcome, yer welcome! By the way, did you see the Asian chick breaking the glass with the high note on that site? Something seems kind of fake or fishy about it to me. The glass is upside down. Is it even possible to break an upside down glass?

Here's the link. Do you think it's legit?

Re: Great Singer

I've seen it, I'm pretty sure it's fake. They had it upside down on a table that had a hole right underneath the glass because there was an amplifier underneath the table. The funny thing is it didn't shatter until right after she quit singing.
