THE VOICE CONNECTION
SOUND OFF

Welcome to The Voice Connection Sound Off; a forum for users of books like Raise Your Voice, Melody to Madness, The Ultimate Breathing Workout, and Unleash Your Creative Mindset, as well as a place for Vendera Vocal Academy members to interact.

This message board was created so that singers could come together and "sound off" to help support each other during vocal development and the creative process of unleashing the creative spark that occurs when writing and producing music. Currently, myself and vocal coaches Ben Valen, Ray West, and Ryan Wall are here to respond periodicially to your questions, with new vocal coaches coming soon. But, feel free to help each other too:)

This board is here for you to ask questions about my and my fellow coach's books, videos, and MP3 programs, as well as offer others help with our vocal techniques. You may also post videos of yourself and your band to share your music and ask for critiques.

Please refrain from negative comments, profanities, spamming, and inappropriate criticisms of vocal methodologies, vocal coaches, and singers. All negative posts will be deleted and subject to banning without question. I will not respond to negative posts, because, as Mark Twain once said, “Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.” With that said, positive criticism is welcome because that is how you'll grow as a singer during the training process.

Re: Green tea

I'm not an expert but green tea probably contains some caffeine. If you drink enough water you probably have no dehydration. There are also Rooibos teas that shouldn't have caffeine

If you like green tea (or coffee, whatever), then drink it and enjoy :) Just drink some water too.

And remember, each individual is different.

Re: Green tea

Green tea doesn't contain much caffeine at all. If you enjoy it, drink it in moderation. If you're worried about it, just drink an extra glass of water to offset it.

I start my day off with two cups of coffee, but I also guzzle about 1 L. of distilled water soon afterward.

On a side note-
If you're a tap water drinker and the water supply where you live is fluoridated, read this article:

Re: Green tea

yes, the bull**** that flouridated water (which is aluminum)is good for you, is yet another lie that ensures health problems. brushing your teeth, using toothpaste, drinking fluoride doesn't yield healthy teeth. people for some reason think they can eat processed sugar, chemical laced "foods", pop vitamin pills so they can get "every vitamin they need", eat dead carcasses, drink oil from dead fish bodies to get their "omega vitamins" and then just brush their teeth with chemical solutions on plastic bristles and think they're going to have healthy teeth. teeth are like your bones, they improve through a correct diet of wholefoods (nuts, grains, fruits, veg, natural fats like butter, coconut, honey, abstaining from processed products and white flour/sugar, make sure you eat plenty of sea salt, get lots of sun, and drink a lot of water), you can have great teeth without ever brushing. , if you really want to brush, get a soft bristle brush, and use baking soda and raw sea salt.
