This is a really explosive question you've thrown out. Any illegal head of a household, who is gainfully employed, whether legally or illegally should be given no more than 6 months to institute legal immigration documents to stay here and work legally. They should be fined, in small increments, but pay back taxes. No unwed mothers should be allowed to stay in this country. They and their children should be DEPORTED. Thus, they are ineligible for any aid whether WIC or Welfare. Anyone who would like to work here legally, apply for citizenship, obtain the legal documentation, pay taxes, BUT THEY MUST LEARN TO SPEAK ENGLISH, should be allowed to stay. If we Americans do not make some concessions, they will continue to come in through San Diego storm drains as they are presently doing. HOWEVER, NO ENGLISH, NO STAY. Go home.
