March 29th Question
These are my thoughts... I would have to agree with Senators McCain and Kennedy. Set that two-year time limit, and then act accordingly. As far as Senator Frist's proposal, isn't that similar to the old adage about closing the barn door after the cows, horses, (or whatever they were) got out? What good will become of securing our borders, now?   It would be heading in the right direction for the future, but here and now we have 11 million illegal immigrants. It is time to fix the existing problem and "THEN" prevent future perpetrators. |
