Hi Gino,
The model was based on number of games (not players, only indirectly) on purpose, because if one chooses 1% level this means that (about) 1% unfinished games are expected. As Pedro Hegoburu correctly indicated on the ICCF forum, not all unfinished games need to be adjudicated. From the Champions League one can conclude: 35 games unfinished but only 4 games needed an adjudication.
So it might well be that the number of adjudications is about 1/10th of the level set for unfinished games.
