Subject:   Game display needs redesign

Message:   Hi Gino,

I think Gary makes an excellent point. The effort to encourage chat between players has cost a lot of screen real estate leaving minimal room for moves. During testing I suspect we had only short games where this didn't matter so much. But now, in real games, we have players who have to scroll a couple times on every move in every game to view the moves in order to provide the screen space for the seldom used chat boxes.

I suggest going back to the drawing board with this to find a solution. The suggestion of using a larger board to make a little extra room for the moves is a good practical suggestion for the moment, but this should be a temporary solution only. I don't even like using a large board, but I feel I must use it to avoid a move area big enough for only one or two lines of moves.

Gary, you mention the need to scroll to get to the submit and confirm buttons. One objective of the screen redesign was to eliminate the need to scroll down. Could you describe this problem in greater detail? I assume you have a small monitor and/or use a large screen font, sometime I assume is the case with many users.

Franklin
