I think one of the common threads you will find in Peter's posting is the need for "transparency" within the ICCF. In this case, the player has to ask for information that was previously provided.

As a general rule, more information is preferable to less. It saves everyone time in the long run. It also enhances the confidence level of the recipient in the provider.

Truth be told, people make mistakes. From my experience with the ICCF, they are generally honest mistakes. However, if you are on the negative side of a mistake, honest or otherwise, you want it corrected.
