There is a difference between days of leave and "effective" days of leave. I think server play makes this more evident.
If your opponent is on leave but you are on move, his leave has not become "efective" in his game against you. You could consider it a wasted leave. As a matter of fact, his clock has not stopped because it was not running while you were on move.
Forgive me for being practical, but I only want to know if my opponent is making his clock stop in his game against me by taking a leave. And this information is already available by simply looking at the column "status" in the Game List. Your opponent's leave will be indicated, if he is on move.

I understand the transition from email to server makes things appear inappropiate sometimes, but in this particular aspect; I don't see a problem. Perhaps it takes two extra clicks to find your opponent's leave calendar. Maybe there is a way to make this more functional...
