Hi Gino,
I only now realise that ICCF made a mess of the playing rules. At the end of the 2006 webserver rules it can be read:
"These playing rules were adopted by the ICCF Congress, Villa La Angostura 2005 and take effect from 1.1.2006."
But at the end of the 2007 webserver rules it can be read:
"These playing rules were adopted by the ICCF Congress, Villa La Angostura 2005, Dresden 2006 and take effect from 1.1.2006, the new part take effect from 1.1.2007"
Evidently the 2006 Dresden congress overruled and revoked the 2005 Angostura congress formulation and even pretends that it was already decided in 2005, which can never be the case of course. The latter formulation clearly contradicts the 2006 webserver rules.
To me it seems that playing rules have been changed during ongoing tournaments. And I wonder if this can be justified by any legal right.
Beste wishes,
Wim |
