Eugen is right, programming costs need to be considered as well as the value of the feature desired. If a lot of users request a feature be added to the server, then more weight is put on getting it implemented.
Thanks for your ideas though, hopefully we'll get the server update out in the near future. Perhaps you will be able to give more insight once you see the final product.
