You don't understand my suggestion. Of course, many people would oppose forced adjudication when you may consider a game as "won". Being up a piece may be a winning advantage, but there is still work to be done. Let's put such things aside for the moment.

If we can immediately request adjudication for forced draws, then that is a good first step showing we want to resolve this issue of DMD. Can anyone object to adjudication when checkmate is forced? But certainly this isn't the case for being up a piece. Let's take it one step at a time.
