I know that the majority likes a faster time control, but I am actually hoping it stays at 10/60.

10/50 is a bit fast for me for difficult games, and there are always a couple of those per tournament, while having a full-time job and other things that require time.

I am not even sure I want to play in season 3 when the time control is faster.
