Message:   A speed of 10/40 is too fast. I don't mind playing computers but not at that fast rate of play. If ICCF institutes that speed and they guess wrong they could lose a lot of their regulars. Normally CC players who quit don't come back very soon but a percentage do return.

I'm wondering if 10/50 will lose many players. I know with that time limit I'd have over stepped the limit in several games in the past year. There are lots of players who like to work on their games one or two days a week (weekends) and for them the 10/60 is great.

I'm taking a break from chess when my current games finish. No way I want to play fast time limits when I'm not feeling 100 percent.
