I don't post here too often anymore. Wears me out. Being checkmated on the chessboard is enough competition to fill my day.

Since no one responded to your post, I thought I'd stop and say thank you for the New Year's wishes and wish you the same. Congratulations on your soccer appointment.

I think DMD is disrespectful and violates the spirit of the rules. My favorite chess games are those where each player moves at a steady pace and the game ends with a thank you and congratulations from each player. Since one can't always have the ideal, you are wise to make the best of the bad situations.
