Help needed

Hello Everybody

I have been contacted by a Lady, whose daughter recently visited Ypres on a school trip and laid a commemorative cross at the grave of Mark Tomlinson Gregory of the KRRC. She contacted me via my website because he worked at Vickers Steelworks. She wondered if I had any other information about him. Well other than he was born 1895 and his military details, I know very little.

Could anybody add a little family history from the 1901 census etc.

Thanks in advance

Robert

Re: Help needed

There is also a Tomlinson Gregory from Nottingham, aged 7 - any connection?

Re: Help needed

Hi Robert.

I don't think there is any connection as Tomlinson GREGORY is registered at Basford in 1892 and Mark Tomlinson GREGORY is registered in Sheffield in 1895.

Re: Help needed

Hello Angela,

Thanks for checking. With such an unusual first name, Mark Tomlinson Gregory is proving soemwhat elusive.

Regards

Robert.
