Mother
We are looking for information of our mother born in Woodhouse Sheffield. Her name was Emily Elizabeth Bailey (Baily) not sure of the spelling as she died when we were young. She had one brother named Jame. After her marriage to Daniel George Butcher, they lived at 66 Balmoral Rd until her death, not sure of the year. We would also like to hear from the Marshal, the Meads and the Froggarts who were out neighbours. |

Hi Jennifer & Doreen, Could I suggest that you need access to the GRO Records of Births marriages and deaths to start your quest. If you haven't read "Getting started" from our menu it will help. Do you have your original birth certificates which would also help. The idea is to go from your birth certificate to your parents marriage certificate. From their marriage certificate to their births. Buy the certificates and prove as you go. This is the normal way of research.... The earlier the information is the harder it is to get hold of......
