Of the four people on the same page of the marriage index... GRO Marriages DEC Qtr 1903 HEPPLESTONE Joseph Sheffield 9c 841 LEADER Mary Sheffield 9c 841 MANN Walter Sheffield 9c 841 SPOONER Sarah Hannah Sheffield 9c 841 ... I'm pretty sure he married Sarah SPOONER rather than Mary LEADER. There are two post-1911 births of HEPPLESTONE with mmn SPOONER and one of MANN with mmn LEADER. there is also this entry in the death index: GRO Deaths DEC Qtr 1915 Hepplestone Sarah H 30 Sheffield 9c 817 Hugh |

Hi Tony, Thanks ever so much. I really appreciate it. People can underestimate how important it is to photograph headstones. I always take photos of my family stones, and one that I photographed down in Dorset 20 years ago is virtually unreadable now. They erode, get defaced, removed etc etc. I'm so glad to have this one now!!! A huge thank-you to yourself and Elaine. All the best Vicky |

are you having problems with your hepplestones on finding info. i have hepplestones, same line as elaine to robert and sarah then we branch off from there. looks like all hepplestones in sheffield are related as not many going back into 1800s.robert and sarah had son joseph b1841 and looks like roberts father was joseph born abt 1776. cant seem to have much look with the hepplestones hi elaine its been a long time not been doing any of my family tree much since i lost my hubby over 2 years ago now, but trying to get back into it again didnt realise how much as been done on the site over the last couple of years was amazed how much as been done since the days we did the 1841 census you have all been very busy and good work to you all |
