Re: gym training
Hello Alex,
I'm not familiar with the JJB Gym, as we're the other side of Bristol.
The best advice I can give through this message is to set out a plan with realistic short term and long terms goals. Consistency & progressive overload are key, which come hand & hand.
Your initial training regime & nutrition should reflect the realistic goals you're hoping to achieve & not that of an advanced trainer.
IMO steroids should not be considered by any newbie & is more likely to lead to quitting and/or injury.
The only way you'll make initial gains quicker than your average is if you're genetically gifted and/ or by training correctly & having a gym friendly lifestyle (rest, nutrition, recovery).
I hope this helps. Best regards,
MATT
