New Thermobol Feedback
Copy of e-mail from John:
Dear Matt,
I think Maximuscle should have stuck to their old formula, with the benefit
of not producing the chaos they did.
The new Thermobol is somewhat diuretic, I find, but, with the proviso that I
also take other products and that the combination of all those products may
be at fault, it has given me:
a) increased appetite
b) sleepiness
c) extra weight.
The older formula helped me stay lean, this one clearly does not, I will not
take Thermobol again.
This is my experience.
I remain friends with Gymrats, of course
With my best regards,
John

Re: New Thermobol Feedback
Hello John,
I've been trialling the revised version as well with what I'd consider the opposite affect. I had been dieting for several months unassisted and after achieving a low body fat percentage it was becoming more and more difficult to lose weight successfully and so I thought I'd give Thermobol another go (I used it the same time last year). I've never considered Thermobol as a particularly potent or strong product, but with my restricted choices I find it provides just enough to give me a poke in the right direction.
Thermobols formulation's not that different, albeit with Chromium added and several B vitamins. The Chromium per daily total is higher than a perceived safe allowance (if you're reading anywhere), but there's no set recommended daily amount. Plus Chromium's required for glucose metabolism and so isn't a bad addition. The only major change I see is that Maximuscle recommend Thermobol's taken on an empty stomach, whereas I'm pretty sure it used to suggest with food. You may find that if you're taking it on an empty stomach you are in fact absorbing more of the ingredients and hence the effects aren't as you're use to (?). I personally find that occasionally, on an empty stomach, I have a feel of heart burn which is probably due to the pepper content.
You may want to look at the other products you're taking as Thermobol is likely to act like a diuretic, which isn't a bad thing when dieting. However, if you're upping Vit C or Dandelion Extract or anything else which acts as a natural diuretic then too high a level (a level your body hasn't built up a tolerance to) can act too well and cause diarrhoea and dehydration. If you're slightly dehydrated your body can lead to senses of hunger, rather than additional thirst.
I hope this helps. Also, we're very grateful of all feedback as we only stock items - supplements & equipment - we'd be happy to recommend and/ or use ourselves. Would you mind copying your post on to our forum, so that others can also see. I can then place my review next to it. Thanks John,
MATT

Re: New Thermobol Feedback
copy:
Deat Matt,
just to set the record straight, I am now taking Thermobol whilst avoiding
the GH Kick and am attaining the results that I want.
My previous experience was probably due to the fact that my body was not
being able to process everything that was being fed into it, one of the
possibilities that I had admitted.
Thank you for your comments once more,
John
