Sentencing
BBC News reported that following the release of a couple of wannabe terrorists by 17 days, the early release scheme was to be re-adjusted. However today, the Press Association reported that two sex offenders (offences not made clear in the early report) had been released 18 days early. I just think that the sentence was too short in the first place and that there's no real story in the fact that they served 17/18 less days, when the victims get life. Or should victims and survivors be annoyed that offenders are getting even a fortnight off their sentences/parole dates? |
