Hi from Thailand - Please Daddy No just hit number 1!
Hi all my fellow survivors and I hope that life is treating you well. I am currently over in Thailand sat at my hotel fighting all the bloody mosquito's at the moment but great to reach back over to the UK for some home comforts. I have just heard my book has shot to number one over there and it seems as though the world is starting to listen and that we are getting the message over. I speak for each and every one of us and everyone has the right to be heard. I am also so grateful for what I have today and the fantastic amazing gifts of friendship which I share with all of you. We are all in this together, united, brothers and sisters in arms fighting a just cause. I have to pinch myself at where i am at today because 6 years ago i was contemplating suicide. Even though i was dealt a raw hand at the start of my life, the key has all been change. That is the way i think, feel and act. Change nothing and nothing changes! I have broken free from my past and today i live a life happy, jpyous and free. It is available to all! Don't get me wrong, I still have my up and down days but that is just life. Anyway, wanted to share this moment with people who understand and i know that you all do. Look forward to seeing you guys at the retreat. Love, respect, best wishes and lets all stick together. Hi Stuart, I bought your book on Saturday, started reading it that evening, put it down eventually in the early hours of Sunday morning.... Thank you for being an inspiration to all of us. Steve knows my story, knows me, perhaps one of only four people in this world who know the real me, and he too has inspired me never to give up, and coaxed me from the shadows of my past into the light that comes from seeing yourself as a survivor. With his help, and the love and support that I got in Courage for Survivors, from Liz, Rob and Steve, I was able to move on and today, I am living the life I never thought I would. I have to say that being a female survivor of abuse I am more likely to find support, and I thank whatever powers that be that there are guys like you and Steve and all the others, who reach out to the guys, guys like my little bro who need to know that they are not alone. Take care Rikki

Well done to you Steve. Tell me how you do it, I've just sat through a fucking meeting with some cunt telling our profession that we have to justify ourselves! I'm a dietitian, apparently every fucker out there is an expert! No other fucking profession has to justify themselves. Doing my self esteem the world of cunting good, NOT! FUCK THIS CUNTING WORLD |
