Wanting to help...
I would like to start off by introducing myself. My name is Shauna Freitag and I moved to Middletown in the fall of 2005. My husband Ryan and I moved into the ex-Mayor of Middletown's home. I have seen much debate on Mr. Durbin's political performance and I must say I am blessed to live here, and want to do all that I can to be a voice for myself and my neighbors. I would like to know what I can do to be a voice in my community. I understand there is great deal of frustration between the residents of Middletown and our City Council. The parade grounds is obviously a HUGE issue of debate and it saddens me to hear my neighbors and residents, much of which do not live on the parade grounds, feel as though their voice on the subject is not being heard. I would love to get to know the residents of Middletown and their opinions with this pressing issue. I welcome input from everyone regardless of their stance on the issue. I believe the more I know, the more beneficial I can be as a resident of Middletown. Thanks! |

Hello Shauna... Thanks for taking the time to look at the website and to voice your opinion. I am with the Middletown Events Committee and we are always looking for any volunteers to help plan our Middletown Annual Event and other events through out the year. Our Events meeting will be coming up soon, not to sure of the day due to a council meeting, i cna let you knwn when the meeting will be if you are intrested.
