Auction
I have a book by Helen Steiner Rice titled REMEMBERING WITH LOVE its a collector's edition, and is full of beautiful poems. I want to auction this on Parcels43 (highest bid wins) All proceeds go to Parcels 43. |

Kenny and Pink you are sweethearts. Its a hard back book, I have had it for years, packed away in a box, Ray and I thought it a good idea to raise funds for P43, I have no idea how much it is valued at. I know how much everyones poems especially Pinks means to this site and its that that gave me the idea. |

Hi Simon, glad you managed to get the book ...though best hope mandy doesn't look in and gets the surprize spoilt now....I handed my hubby a tster strip with a perfume I want for my Birthday in a couple of weeks ..nothing like a straight hint then I get just what I want too

Mandy the book I have for Auction you cannot but online, its 23 years old and isnt printed anymore, I wrote to the Helen Steiner Rice foundation in USA, and they advised me the edition I have is not for sale by them anymore unless one gets it in a antique book shop. |

I have a little something for Aution too....A Roayl Engineers cap badge broach, It was a mess doo gift for wives which I recieved in 1991. Its the same size as a normal cap badge but I would say slightly heavier....not sure about the metal content but there are no hallmarks....will try to add a pic into pride of Britain as we do not have a photo area elsewhere at the minute, this is something I have asked john for (web designer) I was also thinking that we could possibly have a regular Action of for sale site ...what do you think? maybe with a 10% fee if your items sells? could maybe sale Mess Kit ect or anything Legal that you might want to sell (let me know your thoughts) |

Hiya Simon aww Mandy will love that book , it has some amazing poems in  I can vouch for the letter Carol had back about her limited edition copy of the book , its no longer printed and there may not be many left now. Such a wonderful thing to auction off

shall we wait till your is finished carol ? I used jewellery cleaner on it earlier and its all shiny again now, it was tarnished which makes me wonder what its made of? contacted a military jeweller to ask if they are the ones who supplied them too. |

going to wear the brooch to the handover today as its with the Royal Engineers, you might get to see it on the coverage pinned to my parcels43 shirt...local radio just called too about omething else and it looks like they might also come along and record something for a piece for airing tomorrow

I love Helen Steiner, and had one of her poem books as a child, but sadly it got ruined when we had flood, so it would be great to have a book of her poems again. |

There are some beautiful poems in this book, its 23 years old, and not printed anymore, so in time to come could be valuable. It is a collectors item. |

I have added the cap badge pic to pride of Britain, its not too clear when you open it up but just to let you know the writing is readable on the badge and it is all silver colour. this will go for Auction after carols Book finishes .... Nice for anyone with a love one who is a Royal Engineer. |

Royal engineers ladies Brooch anyone, it was a mess gift to me in 1991, Its not hallmarked though was tarnished and when I jewellery cleaned it the brooch now looks a treat....picture in Pride of Britain |

Is that £5 on the Royal Engineers brooch Carol? there is a photo of it i the pride of britain folks, It was a mess gift to the wives in 1991, has no meaning to me now (not sure why I kept it) If there is a Engineer wife/mum out there it might make a nice gift...it looks like silver plate and polished up well too, can't see hallmarks so I would say its just a metal |
