Hey... Im New!!!!
Hi Everyone, im new on here, the site was recommended by a friend. Got a bit sick of reading the BFPO chatboard, its all doom and gloom! Im from Essex, my boyfriend is on his second month of a tour of Afghanistan with 3 PARA and im finding it really hard. Hope this helps me pass the time and make it easier. Look forward to speaking to you all.. Is anyone else from near Essex??? Katie x x

Hi Soph, we have spoken as part of the 3 para club lol.. Thanks everyone, this board seems a lot better and a lot more light hearted, people are talking about things to do to pass the time rather than how depressed we are all feeling which makes me even more depressed lol.. So there are a few of us from Essex, its boiling here today, ive been in the garden for the past 4 days and i am very brown, give my boyfriend a run for his money when he gets back!! I will be home from work just in time for the party Wednesday, im all excited now x x x |

Hi girls!!! great to see some new members of the gang!! I know what you mean about some other chat forums, some of the comments can be a bit catty, not what we need when our loved ones are away and we need a bit of support!!! everyone is brilliant on here, dead friendly, and always offer support when things get tough!!
