Still here

Morning all, sorry not been on for a while but for some reason when I'm at work I can't see the security code to put a post on, having a bit of rough time at the mo and been in bed earlymost nights but hopefully with 3 days off and some time to relax, will be back to normal and back on for party night on wednesday.

Hope everyone is ok.

xxxxxxxx

Re: Still here

Hi all, not too bad just a bit of the rock bottom blues, things have been snowballing for a while, marriage wasn't brilliant before he went, and perhaps a 6 month tour not the best way to patch up lol also coping with the car accident, moving and then the other house not selling, trying to rent, coping with running two houses, not to mention a 40 hour week as senior community psychiatric nurse --- lol and yes hubby is still down and he rings and he talks about himself, understandably but hard going

Doc has put me on some antidepressants and says I need some TLC lol which would be lovely if I wasn't 300 miles away from my family.

But nevermind, it will pass and I'm looking forward to getting my brain moving faster on wednesday night.

Thanks for all the hugs. xxxxxxx

Re: Still here

HI all, many thanks for that, and thanks Linda I know you're nearby, its just finding some spare time at the mo lol My shifts are all over the place.

Just when I thought things could not get any worse, we got a letter from Northern Rock this morning, saying that they have declined consent to let out the house, and that their policy is that only people who have 75% mortgage or less than can, so they asked us to pay £44000 within a month, or no let.

So I'm back up to the house tomorrow, to clean again ready for possible viewings, otherwise I think I'm just going to give the keys back and repossessed. I know we get black balled for 5 years, but he has another 4 1/2 years to go, (depending whether goes through with his current signing off), so we could manage.

And no Pink not booked massage yet, have to go to Scarborough for it, which is about an hour or more drive. So need to plan that lol

Hope you feeling better Pink, and the day has got better not worse.

Re: Still here

Oh Angie , are Northern Rock for real, the mess they got themselves in Are you going to have to try to sell again then? have you thought about Autioning it with a reserve to cover you well enough and some more on top?

Re: Still here

I might consider auction but don't know anything about it, and as its a new estate house thats only 2 years old, not sure it will be something that buyers at an auction would want. Currently the difference between our selling price and our mortgage is only £15k and we could not afford to get less than the mortgage value.

Hate Northern Rock, wish we had chosen a different company but then 2 years ago I wasn't mystic meg .

I'm sure someone will come along, its a 3 bed detached house for under £140K, still a bargain.

But I will look into the autction side, just in case

Re: Still here

Re: Still here

Hi Angie, sorry to hear how things are, only wish i could help but im afraid im a bit dim when it comes to houses and the legal side of things, sometimes i think it would be easier to pitch a tent and live in that!! sorry things a a bit up in the air with hubby, hope it all sorts itself out. Are you coming down this way sometime soon because it would be lovely to meet up, i feel somewhat cut off down here from everyone, but computer and mobiles are wonderful things, i will send you my number if you ever want to tex or chat xxxx
