Bus now to Alrewas.
I have been campaigning for 18 months now for a bus to go to Alrewas Aboretum Memorial. At last it has been granted. My sister used it on Saturday, and it takes you straight to the front door. If you can get to Tamworth ,Staff the bus goes to Lichfield and connects with the 112 to Alrewas. Great for pensioners as a day out, as it won't cost a penny with a free pass, and its also free entrance to the Memorial. Worth a visit folks. |

that's great news Carol, I think its fab with the travel costs being zero...my 19 year old has learning difficulties and he too gets a free pass, slightly worrying though as he can travel for free anywhere in the UK...we have had a talk on what buses he shouldn't get on to |

Its a lovely peaceful place to go and visit, its a must for the spring with all the trees shooting new leaves, due to the floods last year over 10,000 trees have had to be replaced, done mostly by volunteers. |
