Re: Who would be up for a sponsored slim

Thats great Linda..will try to see if we can get one of those links like race for life has...have to find out about it all though first...so sponsor cash goes direct to who we wish to support.
Email will wait hon...know you are busy with Dave too...how is the Wii exercise mat going, we are going to get one at the weekend...put mine on a Wii ban at the weekend so didn't rush out to buy it

Re: Who would be up for a sponsored slim

I have sent a request to Slimming World/ Weight Watchers and Tesco diets.com with the hope that one of them will back us on this one.
If anyone wishes to follow their own diet thats fine too. Still have the sponsorship forms to sort and would like this to be online if possible.

Its true , hubby is quite slim already and just wanted to loose a few pounds so we both went on the mediterranien diet and in one week he gained 7lbs and i gained 5lbs lol . They do lots of diets on there though and not just one so you may find one that suits you x

Re: Who would be up for a sponsored slim

I had a very nice email back from Weight Watchers saying they are unable to help us as at the minute they are involved with the British Heart Foundation and unable to give support elsewhere....at leaset they got back to us which is a bonus

Re: Who would be up for a sponsored slim

I'm rubbish at diets, I dont bother any more. I've decided I'm happy enjoying my food and being a bit round!

Wish I had the willpower though, there are some lovely summer clothes in the shops at the minute. Thats the only thing that annoys me!

Re: Who would be up for a sponsored slim

Teresa hun i am starting Slimming world today from home as after what the doctors told me in hospital about the such high risks to me with my APS when trying to start a family i have decided to get myself into the best shape i possibly can beforehand to give myself a bit of a chance. If we get sponsors else where then i will gladly swap over with you all. I will be keeping tabs on my weight loss and will still be getting people to sponsor me

Re: Who would be up for a sponsored slim

Thats great Pink...my Doc said the same when i saw him last...seems its usually the route of everything...mybe we could use your sponsor forms for all so we all use the same one? maybe get it into our downloads
PinkAngel

May 9th, 2008 - 8:47 AM
Re: Who would be up for a sponsored slim

Okay thats great hun , all we need to do is design our own ones i think and use those . Im not going to the classes as i already have the books from before , so i will be getting weighed by my nurse at the dr's surgery as she is onboard to help me bless her. I will design one up for us all to use so that we can all do different diets if we choose but still raise the money in the process too

Re: Who would be up for a sponsored slim

Right this is my second attempt at typing this!!! Last one timed out!
Well the minute i dropped my o/h at camp for his tour, my diet started! I figured that when he got back i was going to be this slim, tanned gorgeous creature... So far ive got the tan thats about it.
I started limiting myself to 1,200 calories per day, i did this for 2 weeks and i lost 2lbs, just about! I was eating hardly anything and it was all low fat,i would eat fresh fish and veg, salad and not much else.. i must admit i was a bit gutted i hadnt lost more. I kept it up but instead i now have small portions of stuff that i like, not necessarily low fat stuff (i even ate Indian)7 weeks later i have lost a stone!!!
Im still keeping going ive got another 10lbs to loose...The human body is a strange object, weight loss is always delayed, it takes ages for it to kick start, sometimes weeks but once its in the rythem, the weight will fall off!! Keep it up..

Re: Who would be up for a sponsored slim

Thats the spirit Katie , Loosing a stone is still a brilliant weight loss and im sure you will be able to get the few pounds off that you gained in no time

Teresa i like the healthy option after the bad stuff has gone in . Start when ever you feel ready hun , i think you have to be in the right frame of mind sometimes. Thats a shame about the Wii , lots of people are having problems getting hold of them at the mo. We were quite lucky with ours as i put our name down on a list for its release x
