Re: Posting info on homecomings

Hiya on the Royal Navy site we are not allowed to post exact dates either or they remove our posts or blank out our message. I do think its a good idea to keep those things secret as you never know who is looking in on an open forum. Dave has always made me very conciously aware of what can happen if the information gets into the wrong hands. . I like to put my sleeps on when i am getting close to a home coming so i always just put i dont have many sleeps left , followed by i have less sleeps today lol right up until the day before when i know i am allowed to say when he is home because the Portsmouth News print the doking times for them the following day , so i figure it must ok then as everyone else knows they are home xx

Re: Posting info on homecomings

Karen O, My M says the exact same thing there has been phone calls made to relatives saying that they have captured ... and will be executing them in the morning in accodance with sharile law. Its all lies but does have an effect on all Info is easily gathered by hand held scanners. Also M will not allow the guys to have the mobile phones on when in transit as they can set off IED's she makes them take out the battery just in case one gets switched on by accident.

It is very good advice.
